Founded by Matt Cranfield and proudly serving East Sussex since 2020, we specialise in hands-on, local support for home users and small businesses. From computer repair and smart security to Wi-Fi upgrades and full IT support, we make technology easy, efficient, and stress-free.
Whether you’re on a remote farm or in a busy office, we come to you with honest advice, expert support, and no unnecessary jargon.
What We do
We offer a wide range of IT services for both home users and businesses across East Sussex. This includes laptop and PC repairs, Wi-Fi optimisation and full network setups, CCTV and smart alarm installations, office refurbs and both on-site and remote IT support. We also help with smart home device setup, general tech troubleshooting, and ongoing consultancy.
No job is too small, and if you’re within our service area — we’ll come to you. We’re mobile, flexible, and local — ready when you need us.

Why ‘Cranfield’?
More than just a surname, “Cranfield” comes from Old English meaning an open field of cranes. It reflects our roots in rural communities and our mission to bring reliable, high-quality tech support to homes and businesses, whether you’re in the countryside or the centre of town.
Our Founder
Matt Cranfield started Cranfield IT Solutions after 15+ years in the industry, working across computer repair shops, internal IT departments, manufacturing, and managed service providers. Over the years, Matt realised that tech support didn’t have to be complicated or corporate it just had to be done right. That’s why he set out to build a business that’s approachable, transparent, and based on real relationships
Matt is also a certified Cyber Security Analyst (trained by IBM), bringing advanced protection to everyday devices — without the scare tactics.
